NEW SERVICE: MITEK MEMORY CARD RECOVERY SERVICE- WE RECOVER YOUR FILES OR IT  COSTS YOU NOTHING AT ALL!

We recently opened a new sector of our business called Mitek Memory Card Recovery Service or MMCRS. What we do is recover corrupted, formatted, or damaged camera memory cards and USB flash drives for a flat rate of $69.00... up to an 8GB card or drive. This includes recovery of the files and uploading them securely to our server so you can securely download them . We also can copy the files to media such as DVD or another flash drive etc. The website will be located at: http://recovery.mitekcomputers.com  when it goes live sometime this week. For now there is a simple landing page. If you have friends and family out of state they can mail their cards or flash drives to us so feel free to pass the link along. This is by far our biggest customer base. Currently we are trying to recover any cards we receive the same or next business day. e are hopeful that we can continue this service within this same time frame. It all depends on the number of cards we receive on any given day

PLEASE NOTE: The recovery process stated here is for camera memory cards and flash drives only. We still offer hard drive recovery and backups, but that is charged at another rate entirely. Since starting this business we have been bombarded with online orders and we have decided to offer this service to our local clients as well. Remember, if we cannot recover any files at all it costs you absolutely nothing. So far we HAVE approximately an 80%-90% success rate. We should also state this is a totally different process than others use. Our current clients have checked around, and many times they are getting quotes of $500.00 or more to recover a 2 GB memory card.. we think this is just way too much money for the service. Our NEW customers must agree with us considering the number of mailed in cards and flash drives we are receiving at this time. We should state this would be considered an entry system. It is somewhat upgradeable but not nearly as much as most of the systems we build. We have discontinued certain aspects of our business and are concentrating our efforts on solutions that can be carried out faster than ever.

We have always been known for the speediness of our repair work, BUT now we have the ability to offer even faster and more effective service for all of our customers. In most cases if you have your system to us by lunch, we can have your system back to you the same day. Very rarely does any repair or upgrade take more than 1 business day (24 hours) in most instances. Of course in a situation where custom parts are needed for a system it can take just a little longer, but normally even custom parts will arrive at our service within 2-5 business days. We can ALWAYS get MOST parts overnight in situations where customers just cannot wait. There may be additional charges involved with any emergency or overnight part deliveries.

MITEK'S SUPER FAST SYSTEM REPAIRS

We repair laptops, desktops, workstations, and servers and can provide upgrades for these systems as well. In addition we are one of the few repair centers in the area that keeps an assorted line of essential computer hardware in stock at all times. Mitek can easily procure hard to find and one off parts that most service centers do not have access to or parts that are not considered profitable. Our highly trained A+ technicians are just as comfortable replacing LCD screens in notebooks as we are in connecting a keyboard to your desktop.

WE PERFORM SERVICE CALLS DAY OR NIGHT 365 DAYS PER YEAR

We are available for residential as well as commercial service calls by simply calling us to make an appointment. In most cases we can perform service calls within 12-24 hours, and many times we can perform the service call the same day. We will work around your schedule and will even make service calls at times that are convenient for you.

We are one of the few service centers that not only perform service calls, we don't charge you EXTRA just because it happens to be outside our normal operating hours.

REMOTE SERVICE CALLS AVAILABLE

Mitek was one of the  very first computer repair centers in the US to offer remote software repairs via a secure Internet connection. In this scenario all you need is a broadband internet connection and the ability to connect to the internet. We can work our remote magic on any computer running a Microsoft or Linux operating system. Our remote repairs start at $39.00 per instance or issue. In addition to repairs we can install printers, anti virus and anti spyware software, or even any other software you may need installed. We can remove viruses and spyware as well using our secure remote connection.

Remote repairs are extremely affordable for both residential and business customers, especially when you need your system operating within specs as soon as possible. By taking advantage of Mitek's Remote Repair Service you have the ability to save your company precious time and money.

In order to setup a remote repair appointment all you have to do is call us at 859.985.0050 during normal business hours. Remote service calls can be set for any time, even after hours if you wish. Remote calls after hours will incur an additional cost of $10.00 per instance per hour. Additional hours past the first hour are billed at our normal remote rates of $39.00 per hour. An hour is considered any amount of time within an hour. For instance if we setup a remote repair call and the call runs 1 hour and 15 minutes, you will be charged for a total of 2 hours. Remote repairs can be paid for via a major Credit Card, PayPal, Company Check, or Google Checkout. After hour remote service calls are billed via PayPal or Credit Card ONLY. Remote repairs are due to be paid immediately upon completion of the service call. In instances where a remote repair is NOT possible, you may be required to either deliver the system to our repair center or setup a "LIVE ON SITE" service call in order to expedite the repair. In these instances we apply the cost of the remote repair to the standard in shop or off site repair charges.

Mitek Computers can easily design annual service contracts for all of our business customers that can save your business literally hundreds if not thousands dollars annually by performing preventive maintenance on your systems on a monthly or quarterly basis. We consult with some of the leading businesses in central Kentucky and design and install secure wired and wireless networks that work smoothly in conjunction with any digital or analog telecommunications system you already have onsite.

In fact, its probably easier telling you what we DON'T do at Mitek Computers. We are truly one of the very few COMPLETE computer design and repair centers left anywhere in the USA and we keep adding new services as the technologies changes in our industry. GUARANTEES AND WARRANTIES

All of the work we perform on your system is guaranteed and is backed up with our in house service agreement. All of the hardware we use in your system is brand new and all hardware comes with full manufacturer warranties. If we service your system, such as performing an OS reload , virus removal, or peripheral installation such as printers, scanners, routers etc. we guarantee you your system will be working flawlessly when it leaves our repair center. We provide instructions that you should follow once you get your system home in order to make certain your computer is operating at its peak performance.

We are available for phone support once you do get your system home. Please note we do show you that your system is operating as it should when it leaves our premises. If you experience major problems as you are setting up your system you need to contact us immediately via phone. We will do our best to walk you through any problems or issues, however, IF we have to come to your home in order to setup your system for you, there is a reduced service rate for just such occasions.

NEW SYSTEM SETUP AND INSTALLATION

If you purchase a complete custom computer system from us we also provide an installation for you at a reduced rate as well. If you need us to make a service call to install your system for you, please make sure you inform us when you purchase or order your system from Mitek Computers. In this scenario we deliver the system for you, install up to 2 peripherals such as 1 printer and your broadband or dialup connection. This includes setting up your modem or router if applicable, but does NOT include setting up any additional computer systems you may already have. In this situation we will give a quote once we are onsite and have determined how much time and labor will be involved.
