 Our Mitek Computers Custom Designed Desktops are
some of the most well known, well respected, and highest quality systems
built anywhere by any system builder at any price. Being in this
business for close to 20 years, has given us an insight into
hardware and how certain hardware works better together
overall, than comparable hardware in different
configurations.Basically what this means is, that we know that certain brands of mainboards work better with certain brands of hard drives and certain brands of ram etc. Its through this research process, and running benchmark after benchmark that we come up with our builds and our series. Once we have determined how the system will be built and have designed and customized it completely, we then run what are known as stress tests or burn in tests, trying to find any particular failure point in the system. Once we are satisfied that we have designed our next PERFECT system, then and only then do we actually offer the system as a series. Usually it will take us anywhere from 3 months to 6 months from concept and design to the actual final build of the series that you can purchase. We have joined the BEST HARDWARE available, designed to work in conjunction with every other piece of hardware in order to build a flawless computer. We have also designed the system to work well with either Windows XP Professional or Windows Vista Premiere or Ultimate. Our bench marks on Linux have been just as awesome, especially under Fedora and Kubuntu and anyone that has even touched one of Mitek Computers UFO series is truly amazed at the speed of the system itself. The Mitek Computers UFO series is offered in red and black ONLY simply because the case we have chosen was meant to be a larger mid tower/server 100% aluminum case, that allows for better airflow and cooling. By choosing a wider chassis design, and a design that accepts full size mainboards we can increase the distance between hardware that gives off heat, thereby keeping the temperatures of these systems well below specs, which in turn makes the systems naturally breathe better and run that much faster. Plus we just love red and black.
Oh yeah by the way UFO is an acronym for the "Ultimately Fast Object" and when we say it screams, well it screams. In motor head terms the Mitek Computers UFO would be a Corvette, while off the shelf systems such as E-Machines, HP's and Dell's at Wal-Mart and Best Buy would be considered Yugo's.
